След сериозният успех на системите си от тип “всичко в едно” NaimUniti и UnitiQute, Naim Audio реши да зарадва почитателите на комбинираните системи с продукт от още по-висок клас, който съчетава в себе си удобствата на UnitiQute, Naim DAC и SuperNait.
SuperUnity поддържа стрийминг на 192kHz/24-bit съдържание и многобройни възможности за свързване – Wi-Fi и Ethernet, три оптични и два коаксиални цифрови входа, три аналогови входа, предусилвателен изход и стерео изходи за субуфер. На предния панел е поставен 3.5мм комбиниран аналогов/оптичен вход, USB вход и изход за слушалки. Както и при другите Uniti системи, SuperUnity може да приема директно цифров сигнал от iPod, iPhone и iPad, през USB входа, а също и да бъде контролирана чрез iOS устройство. В добавка, получавате DAB и FM радио тунери, както и разбира се, достъп до хиляди интернет радио станции.
SuperUnity използва вече познатата от Naim DAC технология за нулев S/PDIF Jitter, при която се използва буферна памет за съхранение на входящия сигнал преди синхронизирането му. Цифровото филтриране се извършва от DSP чип на SHARC, програмиран от Naim, а ДАКът използван в SuperUnity е Burr-Brown PCM1791A(същият като при NDX и HDX).
Системата предлага изходна мощност от 80W на канал при 8Ω, което позволява доброто захранване на широка гама от озвучителни тела в големи помещения. Очаква се SuperUnity да се появи на пазара през октомври, на цена в Англия от 3250£.
